When I had a prostate I never had a problem. Now that my prostate is gone I haven't had the pleasure of anal yet (although I played with a toy and it was nice.)

From what I understand anal sex can stimulate blood flow in the prostate which in turn can improve it's condition and function. Look up "prostate milking"

Did you have any problems with getting hard after your prostate was removed?
When I had a prostate I never had a problem. Now that my prostate is gone I haven't had the pleasure of anal yet (although I played with a toy and it was nice.)

Immediately after? Yes. For some guys it's a permanent problem and for others it's temporary. I went on Cialis 5mg every day for a month and now use it 10mg every other day. With some good foreplay I can get fairly hard without it, hard enough for vaginal penetration but not for anal. I also added a cock ring. The combination of the Cialis and cock ring get me extremely hard.
